TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
