TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
